REPLACEMENT OF ENGINEERING SYSTEMS

Engineering systems include electricity, heating, plumbing and sewerage. Some homes may have separate forced ventilation and fire or burglar alarm systems.

ALGORITHM FOR PERFORMING WORK

Depending on the purpose of the system, the following operations should be performed:

• Power supply system. You need to start work with the dismantling of old electrical cables, revision of the main electrical panel and installed protective fittings. In the event of an increase in power consumption, it is necessary to replace the fittings with a suitable one in terms of indicators; a change in the amount of energy consumption should be previously coordinated with the owners of electrical networks. Before starting installation, a diagram is drawn up indicating the locations of switches, sockets and switchboard. All work must be carried out in strict compliance with the requirements of the PUE.
• Heating system. The type of new boiler, the total area of the building and the specific purpose of individual rooms are taken into account. Heating can be with forced and natural circulation in coolant radiators. For solid fuel boilers, it is necessary to provide a separate technical room. The installation of new heating should only be carried out after thermal engineering calculations.
• Water supply system. Old water pipes were made of metal – there are significant difficulties in dismantling them due to deep corrosion of the joints. During the execution of work, it is necessary to take into account the method of water supply (from centralized systems or autonomously). The calculation of the internal section of new pipes is carried out taking into account the maximum flow and minimum water pressure.
• Sewerage system. All old pipes and plumbing elements are dismantled, if necessary, an autonomous septic tank is repaired. Great attention should be paid to the methods of sealing the joints.
