Redevelopment of the interior can significantly improve the comfort of living, completely change the plan of the rooms and their purpose. During the execution of work, it is necessary to adhere to the requirements of building codes and regulations – this is the only way to guarantee the complete safety of new architectural structures.
REPLANNING OF INTERIOR ROOMS
The main condition is that it is strictly forbidden to touch the bearing walls. Work must be performed in the following sequence:
- External inspection of interior partitions: the presence and location of hidden electrical wiring, installation features of the heating system, sewerage and water supply are checked. If necessary, they are dismantled with the simultaneous preparation of a new installation plan.
- Checking the state of the floor, performing current repairs in order to increase the bearing capacity. Installation of new partitions. Important – the weight of the new partition should not exceed the weight of the old one. The fact is that the floors were originally calculated for a certain load and it is categorically not recommended to exceed these indicators.
- Installation of electrical wiring, heating and sewer pipes (if necessary) on a new partition
DESIGN OF DOOR AND WINDOW OPENINGS
First you need to inspect the wall, its condition and functions performed. The next stage is marking the intended locations of door and window openings, punching solid holes. Great care must be taken during work. The choice of special tools depends on the material of the existing wall. In difficult cases, it is necessary to knock out the opening in stages using props. If the wall is made of bricks or blocks, then it is necessary to install reinforced concrete, wooden or metal lintels. The dimensions of the opening should be 3–4 centimeters larger than the dimensions of the door or window frames.
In order for the final result of the redevelopment to meet the initial wishes, it is necessary to carry out the work carefully and in compliance with the existing rules.
