As you know, interior 2021 define basic elements such as ceiling, walls, floor, windows and doors. They are selected in stages depending on the chosen style, the purpose of a particular room, as well as the location, lighting of elements and materials. Currently cottage design you can choose the most diverse: classicism, English style, minimalism, hi-tech, provence, chalets, etc. e. I would like to dwell on the last style in more detail, because at present it is gaining more and more popularity day by day. Its popularity is explained by the fact that people value country houses primarily for their comfort and warmth. And in the style of a chalet, these qualities just form the basic basis.
CHALET STYLE FEATURES IN COTTAGE DESIGN
Chalet (from French chalet) is a small Swiss country house, sometimes on the shore of a lake or river. Initially, the chalets served as a shelter in bad weather for shepherds. But over time, the design of the chalet has grown into a separate interior style. The chalet style partially adopts country principles – natural and raw materials, simplicity and environmental friendliness. But meanwhile they have fundamental difference.
Unlike country, the chalet is not so focused on the little things, it is more practical and even concise. The floor is covered with a massive board covered only with varnish or stain. The walls are plastered or clad in wood, and the chalet-style centerpiece is the exposed ceiling beams. As in the English interior, a large stone fireplace is an almost mandatory attribute. At the same time, modern style elements are organically combined chalet style. So, having decorated the fireplace rather restrainedly, without unnecessary decorative elements, you can see how they make up a single organic composition.
For lighting in the chalet, different types of lamps are used: chandeliers imitating ancient hanging structures for candles, table lamps with stands in the form of branches, etc.
The subtle approach of the designer, who managed to withstand the necessary color scheme and the harmonious combination of all design elements, makes the chalet-style cottage unusually warm and cozy, the one in which even the most inveterate urbanist would like to live.
